Dec 2nd - 9th, 2027 Mangosteen Ayurveda and Wellness Resort Phuket, Thailand
Untethered with Grace at Phuket, Thailand
There’s something super magical about staring out into the Andaman Sea dotted by limestone cliffs that inspires a sense of freedom and expansiveness. Thailand is sometimes called the “land of smiles” but more accurately it’s a country with diverse landscapes, rich traditions and beliefs, and a reverence for the rhythms and seasons of life. And NEXT level sunsets!
Join Grace Millsap and special guests for 8-days of heart centered adventures. You can expect a blend of local excursions, free-time to connect with the beautiful surroundings of Phuket, opportunities to participate in traditional cooking (and eating), and a wide range of Yoga classes. Practices will be curated to remind you of your wild and expansive nature with consideration of multiple styles, lineages, and activity level of both teachers and travelers.

So wait, no yoga on this part?
Nope!
Most of the official yoga retreat centers, although super beautiful, are located outside of the city lines. The pulse of the city lies closer to the center - specifically, Old Town which is located inside a 700+ year old wall and even has a moat (!!!).
Our location inside the Old City walls allow travelers to explore on foot (or via tuk-tuk) with a mix of planned activities and free time. And sure, we can recommend a few yoga studios within the walls for folks who wanna move their bodies post travel (there’s even a daily-ish class in a local park with mats available for rent).
FAQ

You will need to arrive in Phuket, Thailand (HKT) by 1pm on December 2nd . You will most likely need to fly through Bangkok first. I like to book round trip from the US to Bangkok (unless you are arriving early for the cultural immersion portion) and then book a separate roundtrip from Bangkok to Phuket - it’s usually cheaper and gives me more choices.
Wanna do more detective work to save some extra $$?
Try searching from larger cities to Bangkok that may be an easy flight away from your city and book 3 separate legs (ex. JFK, BOS, DFW< LAX). Bonus points if you can use for airline points any portion of this. Downside? If/when things get backed up things may get tricky.
-
You are welcome to arrive anytime at Chiang Mai (CNX) on the day of November 28th. The airport is 10-20 minutes from our hotel.
There are no U.S. cities that fly direct to Chiang Mai. You will most likely fly through Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo or Singapore. You could also choose to fly round trip into/out of Bangkok for ease of booking but it may add an extra flight/layover.
-
You will book your own flight. Flights are direct and abundant throughout the day. Grace will provide instructions on which flights to consider when we get closer to the booking time. Flights generally run around $100 depending on baggage + comfort level. You will probably have to check a bag due to airline restrictions and regulations.

“
The retreat was one of the best weeks of my life!!! I think the fact that I got my physical, spiritual and mental health needs all met at once in fascinating and effective ways was just so far beyond anything I could’ve expected or asked for. To say I feel “fully recharged” wouldn’t capture it. I feel energetically charged and deeply inspired far past where I was before. I also completely trusted everyone in the group and really benefited from having open-hearted conversations which absolutely heightened my experience. Thank you forever, Grace!
